About Brahma Vaivarta Purana Ki Katha: One of the 18 Puranas of Hindu religion is Brahmavaivarta Purana, this Purana is the tenth Purana of Vedamarg. Brahmavaivarta Purana is considered to be the oldest Purana. In Brahmavaivarta Purana, the birth, death and nurture of all the living beings of the entire earth sphere, water sphere and air sphere has been described. In this Purana, the description of Lord Shri Krishna and Radhaji Golok-Leela and the description of Saket-Leela of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita are found. Story of Brahma Vaivarta Purana Ki Katha: Brahmavaivarta Purana written by Maharishi Vyasji has 4 volumes, 218 chapters and 18,000 verses. In Brahmavaivarta Purana, it has been divided into Brahma Khand, Prakriti Khand, Ganapati Khand and Shri Krishna Janam Khand.
Brahma Khand:-
In this section of Brahmavaivarta Purana, description of various pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna, description of creation sequence and description of 'Ayurveda Samhita' are given. In this section of Brahmavaivarta Purana, the appearance of Radha in the form of Ardhanarishwar by Lord Shri Krishna is shown from his left limb.
Nature Section:-
In this section of Brahmavaivarta Purana, a complete description of the appearance, characters and powers of all the goddesses is found. The section begins with the description of Yashdurga, Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Gayatri and Savitri. These five goddesses are known as 'Panchdevirupa Prakriti'. She takes this form to protect all her devotees. According to Brahmavaivarta Purana, the supreme form of Raseshwari is that of Radha.
Ganpati Khand:-
In the Ganapati section of Brahmavaivarta Purana, the story of the birth of Lord Shri Ganesha, the glory of Punyak Vrat, the character and Leelas of Ganesha are described. In this section, a list of 8 obstacle-removing names of Lord Ganesha has been given, which are as follows, Vighnesh, Ganesh, Heramb, Gajanan, Lambodar, Ekadant, Shurpkarna and Vinayak.
At the end of Ganpati section it is said that Tulsi Dal should not be offered to Lord Ganesha. In this section, there is description of ‘Dashakshari Vidya’, ‘Kali Kavach’ and ‘Durga Kavach, ‘Surya Kavach’ and ‘Surya Stotra’.
Shri Krishna birth section:-
The last section of Brahmavaivarta Purana, Shri Krishna Janam Khand, is the largest section, which has 100 chapters. In this section, the pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna have been described in detail. In this section, 'Shri Krishna Kavach', which destroys physical, divine and physical fears, has been mentioned. By reciting which all fears are destroyed.
